How to Buy VeChain (VEN)

Find out if those Ray Bans are the real deal with Vechain, a blockchain platform that allows users to learn more about the quality and authenticity of their products.

Using blockchain technology, Vechain offers a platform for retailers and consumers to verify the authenticity of their products through the cryptocurrency VEN. With VEN, users will gain access to products and services. No longer do you need to worry about receiving a knockoff brand item in the mail, Vechain’s got your back.

Who will be on Vechain’s platform?

From Givenchy luxury leather goods to Michelin tires, Vechain already has solutions for and partnerships with a variety of markets:

  • Luxury goods
  • Drinks
  • Cars
  • Retail
  • Logistics
  • Cold chain logistics
  • Agricultural goods

Vechain’s growing list of partnerships has it poised to be a promising cryptocurrency in 2018. If you want in, then let’s show you how to buy some VEN and see if that Louis Vuitton really is fake.

Create A Coinbase Account

The first step to any crypto purchase begins with purchasing some Bitcoin or Ethereum. You need to use these base currencies to purchase other coins. You can buy them through Coinbase, but if you’re having trouble getting in, try switching over to Coinmama — the purchasing process is no different. If you’re already a Bitcoin or Ethereum owner, skip ahead to step 2.

Open Up A Binance Account

Once you bought some BTC or ETH, you can head over to what we call a cryptocurrency marketplace. Here, you’ll be able to purchase all other coins using the main currencies. Today, we’ll be going through Binance, but there are plenty of places you can purchase VEN from. Open up an account head to the next step.

Send BTC or ETH to Binance

These next steps illustrate how we will move our BTC or ETH from our Coinbase wallet to our Binance wallet. It’s not a complex process but to the novice user can be interpreted as such. Follow these steps line by line:

  • Press “Wallets” on Binance
  • Locate your “BTC” or “ETH”
  • Press “Deposit”
  • Copy the address
  • Go back to Coinbase
  • Press the “Accounts” label on Coinbase
  • Identify your BTC or ETH wallet & select “Send”
  • Paste the Binance wallet address into the Coinbase recipient address bar
  • Dictate how much you want to roll over and hit send!

If you’re still confused, have a gander at the screenshots below. They describe the process using ETH for reference:

Purchase Vechain (VEN) on Binance

Now that we have BTC or ETH in our Binance wallet, we can finally purchase some VEN! Look for the “Markets” tab and find the BTC/VEN or ETH/VEN market. After you’ve located said market, you can name your price per coin, exactly how many you want to purchase, and then finally buy!

Am I done now?

You are! If you’re still feeling confused, take a look at this screenshot. Use it as reference if need be.

Decide & Store Away

Great work on buying some VEN! Sit back, relax and take some time to figure out your next move. You can let your cryptos sit in your wallet (many choose to do so), or you can go back to the marketplace to purchase other coins. However, don’t feel the need to go back — your coins will remain safe in your hands.

What else do I need to do?
