How to Buy Red Pulse (RPX)

In an effort to provide Chinese clients with the information to make safe and informed business decisions in the financial market, the team behind Red Pulse created the premier research content platform. The point is to incentivize and pay research producers for their work.

One of the biggest goals Red Pulse deploys is to rally together a global community of researchers that will collectively bring together a wealth of information. This occurs while simultaneously ensuring research consumers are able to access the information most relevant to them.

How will Red Pulse incentivize researchers?

Using the RPX token, researchers are rewarded for bringing in accurate and insightful data into the platform. Some functions of the token include:

  • Creating a common platform and value system to rally a global community of researchers around
  • To avoid high transaction fees, RPX can be held on the platform as a “running tab”
  • To ensure all researchers receive fair and transparent compensation for quality data

While the rewards are great, that’s not to say profit should be the only incentive for research. Red Pulse is still committed to making sure there is accurate and insightful data brought into the platform, and will enforce this by providing an editorial oversight feature.

RPX has the momentum to bring real change to China, and to potentially expand into other markets/territories. Think it’s worth it? Let’s get you set up with some RPX tokens.

Create A Coinbase Account

Before investing directly into RPX, you will need to purchase some Bitcoin or Ethereum. You can buy the coins from either Coinbase, or Coinmama. We recommend Coinbase first. But Coinmama is also a fantastic alternative. Already have some BTC or ETH? Great, feel free to move on to the next step.

Create A Kucoin.io Account

After you have set up your wallet with BTC or ETH in it, we will go to what is called a cryptocurrency marketplace to purchase all other coins. The one we’ll be using today is called Kucoin, but know there are a few other places where RPX is available for purchase. Open up an account with Kucoin and then progress to step 3.

Transfer BTC or ETH to Kucoin

In these next steps (which seem complex but really aren’t), we will transfer BTC or ETH from our Coinbase wallet to our Kucoin wallet. Here is the how to:

  • Press “Wallets” on Kucoin.io
  • Find “ETH” or “BTC”
  • Hit “Deposit”
  • Copy the address string
  • Return to Coinbase
  • Click the “Accounts” on Coinbase
  • Locate either your BTC or ETH wallet & press “Send”
  • Paste the Kucoin wallet address into the recipient address bar from Coinbase
  • Determine how much you want to send and finalize!

Below is a screenshot describing the process by using ETH as an example:

Now that you have some BTC or ETH, you will need to move over to the “Markets” tab and then look for the BTC/RPX or ETH/RPX market. Once you’ve found the appropriate market, you can state your the price per coin, the volume of coins you want to purchase, and then buy!

We find visual examples work best, so here’s a screenshot that better explains this process:

Appraise & Stash Away

Congrats, you purchased some RPX! Now it’s up to you to decide what to do with them: You can either keep them stored away in your wallet or head back to the marketplace.
