How to Buy Rchain (RHOC)

The rise of blockchain platforms has allowed innovators across the world to create new and dynamic technologies. With that, however, follows design problems and concerns of scalability, speed, and safety.

Rchain is looking to solve those problems by being the transformation needed in blockchain technology. Its smart contracts — written through their unique RhoLang code — are concurrent and formally verified by the compiler, making it secure, versatile and fast. Contracts written with RhoLang run through the Rho Virtual machine, a concurrent execution engine that allows applications to achieve remarkable speed and scalability.

Where can Rchain be applied?

Just about everywhere. The developers behind Rchain want to apply their transformative power across a variety of applications to create:

  • Tamper-proof financial systems
  • Social networks
  • A sense of security for users

There is always room for improvement, and Rchain is looking to spearhead that movement throughout blockchain technology. Let’s get you set up with some of the Rchain tokens, RHOC.

Create A Coinbase Account

Before you invest into Rchain, you will first need to buy some Bitcoin or Ethereum. Check out Coinbase but if that doesn’t work out, Coinmama will work as well and the steps for the rest of the process will be the same for both. Already have some BTC or ETH? Great, you get to skip to the next step.

Set up a Kucoin.io Account

Once you have set yourself up with some BTC or ETH, you will make your way to the cryptocurrency marketplace. We’ll be using Kucoin today, although there are other marketplaces available to purchase RHOC as well. Create a Kucoin account and proceed to step 3.

Move BTC or ETH to Kucoin

Alright, this is where it can be a bit confusing. Fear not, all we are going to do is send our BTC or ETH from our Coinbase wallet to our Kucoin wallet. Here are the steps detailing how to make this transfer.

  • Select “Wallets” on Kucoin.io
  • Find “BTC” or “ETH”
  • Tap on “Deposit”
  • Select and copy the address (what we call the address string)
  • Open up Coinbase again
  • Select “Accounts” on Coinbase
  • Locate your BTC or ETH wallet & select “Send”
  • Drag your Kucoin wallet address into the Coinbase recipient address bar
  • Fill out the amount you want and tap send!

Not too horrible, right? Here are some screenshots that help illustrate the process using ETH as an example if you’re still confused:

Buy Rchain token (RHOC) on Kucoin

Find the “Markets” tab and search for the BTC/RHOC or ETH/RHOC market. Name your price per coin, the number of coins you want to purchase, and then finally buy them! Voilà,  you just bought some RHOC!

The components of the page are outlined in the screenshot below:

Assess & Stash Away

You just successfully bought some RHOC — congrats! Feel free to hold on tight to them (many choose to do so) or go back to the marketplace now that you’re an expert on how to buy crypto.

Are there any more steps?

Nope, you’re done! If you have any questions about the process (we understand it can be confusing the first time around), please don’t feel shy sending them our way in the chat window to your right.
