How to Buy Nebulas (NAS)
So, you want to buy Nebulas? We think it’s a pretty solid choice. This coin is founded by one of the NEO cofounders, so the project definitely has some legs. Beyond that, they aim to be the first official search engine for the blockchain.
What does this mean?
Essentially, they are offering a highly advanced search engine platform that rewards blockchain teams & engineers based on the merits of their projects. Think Google, but without the vulnerability of being duped.
Buying Nebulus means you’re also buying into their main product offering, which they describe as the following:
- A decentralized search framework offering value ranking with Nebulus Rank (NR)
- A self evolving platform
- A platform with impressive user incentives
We think this project is very promising, so let’s figure out how to buy Nebulas.
Make A Coinbase Account
First, we’re going to pick up some Bitcoin or Ethereum from Coinbase. If you can’t use Coinbase, consider Coinmama. The steps are the same. If you already have some BTC or ETH, go on to step 2.
Make A Gate.io Account
Gate.io is what we call a marketplace. Here, we trade larger, more stable coins for altcoins. We’re using Gate as an example, but this can be replicated elsewhere. Make an account and move on to step 3.
Move BTC or ETH to Gate
This part can be tricky. The basic idea is we’re moving BTC or ETH from our Coinbase wallet to our Gate wallet. Here are the basic steps:
- Click “Wallets” on Gate.io
- Search for “BTC” or “ETH”
- Click “Deposit”
- Copy the address string
- Go to Coinbase
- Hit the “Accounts” tab on Coinbase
- Find BTC or ETH wallet & hit “Send”
- Copy your Gate wallet address into the Coinbase recipient address
- Fill out the amount and hit send!
Here are some screenshots outlining the process, this example uses ETH:

Now, hover over “Markets” and find the BTC/NAS or ETH/NAS market. Here, you will set your price per coin, amount of coins, and then purchase!
Here’s a screenshot explaining the parts of the page:
Evaluate & Store
How that you’ve purchased some Nebulas, now you’ve got to figure out what to do with them.
Many people decide to hold onto them. Unfortunately, there is no global wallet for Nebulas, but you can store them on MyEtherWallet.
That’s it?
Yep! We hope you enjoyed the tutorial. Have any questions? Feel free to contact us in the chat window to your right.
